OWEA Voluntary Laboratory Certification Program
In the 1980's the Ohio Water Environment Association was concerned about the control of the quality of analysts working in our treatment plants and established a voluntary certification program for laboratory analysts. This program has met with success over the years and now, although not mandated by the State, many facilities require their analysts to have OWEA Laboratory Certification. Two exam dates are offered annually. OWEA currently has certified over 500+ professionals as a Class I, Class II, Class III, or Class IV analyst.
